Workspace layouts
The Workspace is composed of resizable panels. Scanner panels use one compact status header, while supporting panels use consistent workspace chrome. Layouts can include live event scanners, append-only News and Halt alert feeds, current-state top lists, native Lightweight Charts, watchlists, risk tools, offerings, and market-intelligence panels.
Drag the handles between panels to adjust their width and height. Panel sizes are saved with your workspace preferences. Use Settings → Trading to select the default saved layout, set the default chart symbol, or return to the Workspace editor.
Market universe
The Market Universe maximum applies across discovery widgets. The $2B default focuses the workspace on micro- and small-cap names. Increase it only when larger companies belong in the active workflow.
Live event scanner
Eligibility filters decide which tickers may generate alerts. Distinct triggers create immutable rows with provider market timestamps. A symbol can appear repeatedly when separate events occur; continuously true criteria do not emit continuously.
The initial low-float gapper strategy includes criteria entry, new highs, premarket-high breaks, one-minute movement and volume spikes, and VWAP reclaims. Cooldown, pullback rearm, threshold crossing, deduplication, and trigger coalescing suppress noise.
Ranked scanners and premarket gappers remain current-state lists with one row per ticker. Implemented event types can also run as separate scanner panels with consistent headers, settings, notification controls, and timestamp handling.
Clicking a scanner row updates linked charts in the Workspace. Clicking its ticker opens the focused ticker page.
TradeBase Agent context
Open TradeBase Agent from the workspace header without leaving the active layout. The Current context chip tells you which module can supply bounded evidence to the next request. A workspace brief can organize recent changes across ranked scanners, timestamped events, news, and linked symbols; a scanner or alert context narrows the available evidence to that module.
Use Agent Brief for an overview or ask a specific comparison question. Clear the context chip before changing topics, and open the cited scanner, ticker, news, or filing source to verify important claims. The Agent overview shows the sidebar and a completed brief.
Lightweight Charts
Charts render server-authorized candle data locally with TradingView Lightweight Charts. On ticker pages, one authenticated Traderbase stream supplies eligible aggregate updates to all linked intervals without exposing the Massive key or opening browser-side provider sockets.
Time & Sales and NBBO
Ticker pages dynamically request centralized trade and quote subscriptions from the long-running worker. Time & Sales shows real reported prints. The adjacent market-depth panel shows consolidated NBBO only because the configured Massive stock feed does not expose full multi-level depth-of-book.
- 1The one-minute, five-minute, and daily charts stay linked to the selected symbol.
- 2Market snapshot and technical rows summarize available provider fields.
- 3Time & Sales reports prints; the adjacent panel is consolidated NBBO, not full depth.
- 4News, SEC filings, offerings, and halt context support independent validation when available.
News and catalyst context
The News workspace combines received time, ticker, headline, publisher, and event type in one continuously updated table. News, press releases, and halt or resume events remain labeled by source so a headline can be evaluated without losing its timing or provenance.
Use the filter and settings controls to narrow the view. Selecting a ticker opens the same focused ticker workspace used by scanners and watchlists.
